Project Timeline

A project timeline is a critical tool for managing and tracking the progress of a project.

Step 1

Meeting and Contract

Once you have contacted us, we will set up an in-person or phone meeting to discuss your project in detail to make sure that we are the right fit for each other. Once an agreement has been reached about your project, COS Video will send over a video production contract.
1-3 days.

Step 2

Pre-Production

We are thrilled that you have chosen us to work with! Pre-Production is the most important part of the video. Without proper preparation the video can fall apart and COS Video will not let that happen! We work with you to write the best script, audition and cast actors/actresses, find locations, schedule the process, create storyboards and creative concepts, and prepare for the shoot.
1-3 weeks.

Step 3

Production

If you would like to be present for the shoot, you are certainly welcome. We shoot the video(s) with the crew, actors, actresses, or non-actors. We will shoot either in a studio or on location like in a house, office, park...
1-3 days.

Step 4

Post-Production

We edit the video(s) using Final Cut Pro. This process is a lot of fun (well the entire process is a lot of fun really). Editing is where all of our hard work and preparation comes together. We will add music, professional voice over, graphics, titles, etc. You may either come to our office to watch the video or we can send it to you to watch. We ask that you take your time and watch it through a few times over the course of a couple of days before adding, subtracting or making corrections. We ask that no more than 2 people on your side review the video. Too many chefs spoil the soup if you know what I mean.
